Say hello to the WEY VV7 GT Pro, the new range-topping sport version of the VV7 GT sold throughout China.
These photos from Car News China provide us with our first view of the SUV. Interestingly, the body of this particular example is finished in a mix of gloss black across its upper portion, while the front and rear fascias, as well as the side skirts and fenders, are painted matte black.
Taking a closer look at the front end you will notice a set of faux black air intakes that lack the vertical fog lights of more affordable VV7 GT models. Also of note at the front is an intriguing splitter that looks a bit like a rear diffuser.

Speaking of the rear, it benefits from an aggressive diffuser, a F1-inspired central brake light, tinted taillights, and a subtle lip spoiler on the deck lid. The VV7 GT Pro also has a set of angular tailpipes while sitting on a set of silver and black alloy wheels. It all looks pretty good and shows that designers at Great Wall know what they’re doing.
It is understood that no mechanical modifications have been made over lesser models. Consequently, there is still a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 227 hp that drives all four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
It remains unclear when sales of the WEY VV7 GT Pro will kick off in China.
