Want to own a Ferrari F430 but don’t quite have the money to splash on the Italian exotic? You’re in luck as we recently discovered this F430 replica for sale on eBay over in the UK. We’ve also stumbled upon what could be one of the most hilarious used car listings on the web.
First, the car. While it may look like a Ferrari, it is actually a Toyota Celica adorned with F430-inspired body panels. No mention is made about what the new panels are made from but they’re likely nothing more than cheap plastic / fiberglass – take your pick. Complementing the F430-inspired panels are similar headlights and taillights to the real thing as well as wheels reminiscent of those from Ferrari’s V8 supercar.

Like so many replica supercars out there, the proportions of the vehicle are all out of wack and immediately offer a hint of the car’s true identity. According to the seller, however, this Celica might actually be better than an F430.
“The REAL ITALIAN-MOBILE – Will Cost You £200,000 And Another £20,000 Per Year To Insure It!” the listing reads. “Thats NOT It – It Returns 8MPG And £10,000 For Just A STANDARD ENGINE Service…OR You COULD Just BUY This JAPANESE-MOBILE For £12,500…And Overall Expenses Will Cost You PENNIES……..! :))ITALIAN L@@ks – With JAPANESE Reliability!!!”
The listing continues with this gem; “WRAPPED In The BEST Colour “FERRARI RED” – BEST Colour Out There – Looks Even Better Than WHITE & YELLOW! FERRARI RED Is A VERY Rare AND UNIQUE Colour – Only A Few Around In This Colour – Truly STANDS Out!!!”
Indeed it does stand out, but for all the wrong reasons. It carries an asking price of £12,500 ($15,959) which is very little compared to a real F430 but a lot for an old Celica no matter how reliable the Japanese mechanicals may be.
