While it’s true that the Bugatti Veyron’s stock exhaust system is also made from titanium, this particular hypercar features a new setup that bypasses the resonators, meaning it’s straight-piped from the catalytic converters on back.
So what this so-called RYFT exhaust system does is give the car a louder and even more exotic exhaust note, without deleting the cats – which is the way to go if you’re trying to keep it simple.
Royalty Exotic Cars owner Houston Crosta is no stranger to modifying ultra expensive cars, which include the Veyron. In fact, back in 2018, he converted one from its factory-standard all-wheel drive setup to rear-wheel drive.

As for this particular Veyron with the aftermarket exhaust, it recently underwent a dyno test where it put down 897 HP and 909 lb-ft (1,232 Nm) of torque, at the wheels. Taking into account a 20% drivetrain loss, the car, which has aged a bit, could be playing with roughly 1,076 HP and 1,091 lb-ft (1,479 Nm).
Additionally, The RYFT exhaust is said to add about 10-15% more power, according to Crosta, although we doubt that any extra muscle would be as noticeable as that new “soundtrack” coming from the 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 at the back.
In the end, there aren’t a lot of people who can afford to perform such expensive modifications on an already very expensive car. So in a way, this Bugatti is pretty rare thanks to its new-found bark, which seems to be less about peak decibels and more about unlocking the Veyron’s true voice.
