In the United States, there is a 1994 Acura Legend LS Coupe that has no less than 572,750 miles (921,751 km) on the clock and remarkably, is still using its original clutch.
The Accord in question is owned by Tyson Hugie and is featured in the video below. As Hugie tells it, he purchased the Legend LS Coupe from the first owner on March 26, 2003 when it had 95,000 miles (152,887 km) under its belt and for the following nine years, he used it as a daily driver and quickly racked up the miles.
Hugie purchased a new Acura ILX in 2012 and started using it as his daily driver but continues to drive the Accord frequently, averaging between 4,970 miles (8,000 km) and 6,835 miles (11,000 km) per year.

Throughout the decades, Hondas have built a reputation of being very reliable and Hugie’s Legend has been no different. During the 26 years since it rolled out of the factory, the car has received 177 oil changes, been through eight batteries, four windshields, seven timing belts, four sets of spark plugs, three starter motors, and one fuel pump.
The owner says the only time he was actually let down by the car and had to get it towed was at 398,920 miles (642,000 km) when the fuel pump died. That’s relatively minor, however, and the really amazing thing is how the 3.2-liter V6 and the original clutch have held up over time.
What’s also impressive is how nice the car looks from the outside. The paint looks to be in exceptional condition although admittedly many of the panels have been re-painted. Hugie wants to eventually get the car past the 621,371 mile (1,000,000 km) mark on the original engine and clutch.
