One of the hottest cars of the moment, the 2020 Toyota Supra, will be added to Gran Turismo Sport through an update released on April 23.
Officially, the Supra in question is the RZ version, meaning it is one of the three variants sold in the Japanese market and equipped with the flagship 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine. Promotional images of the sports car show it painted in blue and in yellow although we’re sure that gamers will have the option of speccing out the car in any color they want.

A handful of other changes will be made to GT Sport as part of the update. It is understood that the update will look to address issues within Sport Mode and the FIA races, including vehicle handling, slipstream effects, as well as fuel and tire use, particularly in qualifying sessions. Additionally, the penalty system is due to be tweaked.
At the start of the year, CEO of Polyphony Digital and producer of the Gran Turismo series, Kazunori Yamauchi, said updates to GT Sport will become less common and feature less new content, indicating that the team may start to wind down the development of the game and turn their attention to the next installment in the Gran Turismo series.
There are a handful of other cars expected to be added to Gran Turismo Sport over the coming months. This includes the Mazda RX-Vision GT3, a number of new Porsche models and the wild Lamborghini Vision GT unveiled last year.
