Just a few days after German tuner ABT unleashed its epic Audi RS7-R, the company has backed it up with the unveiling of the equally bonkers Audi RS6-R.
Unlike ABT’s RS7-R that was adorned with an intriguing wrap and a host of red accents, the design of the Audi RS6-R isn’t quite as loud. However, it’s still significantly more aggressive than the ‘standard’ RS6. This is thanks to a host of new visual add-ons including a redesigned front bumper with a carbon fiber splitter and a pair of sharp canards.
Elsewhere, ABT has adorned the RS7-R with carbon fiber wing mirrors, new side skirts, a spoiler stretching off from the roof, 22-inch wheels, and a new rear diffuser.

From a performance standpoint, the super estate’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine has been upgraded to an almighty 730 HP (740 PS) and 679 lb-ft (920 Nm) of torque, well up from the 591 HP (600 PS) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) it produces as standard.
Typically, the Audi RS6 sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.6 seconds, but thanks to these modifications, ABT’s example reaches the same mark in 3.2 seconds. The gains in performance are achieved thanks to new turbochargers, an ABT intercooler, software tuning, and a new exhaust system.
Numerous other modifications have been made. For example, there are height adjustable springs, ABT anti-roll bars, and interior upgrades including new floor mats, entrance lights, a distinctive carbon fiber and leather steering wheel, ABT and RS6-R badging, and more.
ABT intends on building just 125 examples of its RS6-R with prices for the package (not including the Audi RS6 itself) starting at €69,900 ($75,631).
