Arctic Trucks is known for turning work trucks into the meanest expedition machines for years so it’s kind of weird that it took them that long to perform their magic on a Ford F-150.
According to the company’s Facebook page, this Ford F-150 AT44 is Arctic Trucks’ latest project and is located in Iceland.
The truck, a Ford F-150 Lariat with the Ecoboost V6 engine, has been fitted with massive balloon-like 44-inch Nokian tires and the necessary -and very nicely done- wide body kit. Arctic Trucks certainly knows how to create one of the most visually pleasing wide fenders and this Ford F-150 is no exception.

There isn’t much more information about the truck available yet since this is the first F-150 done by Arctic Trucks. The vehicle is owned by one of the company’s founders. We do know that the Ecoboost powertrain is still stock, with the body modifications including the usual fender and bumper cutting to fit those giant wheels. The new wider fenders are the same items as fitted on Hilux AT44s but modified to fit the F-150’s body.
The company is preparing a suspension kit to go with their AT44 conversion as well, so this isn’t the last time we’re going to hear about their Yeti-hunting Ford F-150.
Arctic Trucks became worldwide known when Top Gear set out to become the first to reach the magnetic North Pole with a car, providing them with a very impressive Toyota HiLux. The company is known for converting pickup trucks like Toyotas, Isuzus and other models that are available in Europe, as well as vans, into proper expedition vehicles.
