It’s true that most luxury saloons that also feature a tablet-like gadget available to rear seat occupants, will let you adjust various things such as seat settings, climate control, pull up the shades and so on. Bentley however went a step further with their device.
It’s called the Touch Screen Remote (TSR), and thanks to its 5-inch display, it’s more like a phone than a cumbersome tablet.
According to the British carmaker, it affords rear seat passengers “unprecedented control” over the car’s luxury features, and does so while feeling expensive thanks to its polished metal finish with diamond knurling.

The TSR, which has a display resolution of 1280 x 720, is held in place by integrated magnets and deploys itself from the top of the rear center console at the touch of a button. Powering it is a four-core processor, and 1GB of onboard RAM. It also comes with a three-axis accelerometer and a proximity sensor, haptic feedback and a 3,200 mAh lithium-polymer battery.
So what can you do with the TSR? Expect the usual, such as having control over the 14-way adjustable backrest and cushion, seat heating and ventilation, the five massage functions, armrest heating, full climate control access, cabin lighting, panoramic sunroof, sunshade and rear window blinds, plus the 2,200W, 18-speaker optional Naim audio system.
You can also work the optional Mood Lighting system, tailoring the ambient color and intensity to your preferred setting.
However, unlike other similar devices, the TSR will also let you access a variety of driver information, things that are usually only accessible to people sitting in front. With that in mind, the car’s current speed, journey information, exterior temperature and a complete navigation interface reside at your fingertips.
As for the piece de resistance, you can use the TSR to retract or deploy the Flying Spur’s Flying B mascot on the hood, because why not?
