China’s Wuling is going “global” as the brand will offer three different models in a variety of international markets.

Details are limited, but pictures posted on Autohome and CarNewsChina show the Cetus will be the first to arrive as it is scheduled to be unveiled later this year.

Apparently an MPV, the Cetus features a prominent grille and a large lower air intake. They are flanked by squared off headlights and LED daytime running lights.

Moving further back, there’s a rakish windscreen and a gently sloping roof. The model also has plastic body cladding, pronounced fenders and streamlined bodywork.

In 2021, Wuling will unveil the Ursa which is a rugged crossover or SUV. The front end is dominated by a large grille and an angular bumper with contrasting silver accents.

Elsewhere, there’s plastic body cladding, flush-mounted door handles and a pronounced C-pillar. We can also see contrasting grey paint on the roof and A-pillars.

The third and final model is the most interesting of the three as it’s a sporty coupe or hatchback called the Sirius. Set to be unveiled in 2022, the model has a bit of a Polestar 1 vibe mixed with French styling cues.

The wide grille gives way to a sleek body that features pronounced fenders and muscular rear haunches. The Sirius also has a sporty windscreen with wraparound glass. The sporty styling is further emphasized by a ‘floating’ roof and a pronounced B-pillar that flows into the bodywork.

Little else is known about the upcoming models and it’s unclear how global these vehicles will actually be. However, the Sirius looks pretty promising so hopefully we won’t have to wait long to find out.
