Shortly after the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and Charger Hellcat models hit the market, it didn’t take long for tuning companies to start using the 707 hp, 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine in a variety or weird and wacky projects. This Hellcat-powered Chevrolet C10 could be one of the finest we’ve come across.

The vehicle was recently featured in an episode on the AutotopiaLA YouTube channel and is unlike any other C10 we’ve seen.

The man who owns the truck had a standard C10 in his younger years and recently decided it would make for the perfect platform to perform an epic engine swap. However, this wasn’t simply a matter of dropping in the Hellcat engine and calling it a day.

Coupled to the Hellcat engine in the custom Chevy truck is the same six-speed manual transmission as the Challenger SRT Hellcat, driving the rear wheels. While the basic frame of the C10 has been retained, all-new suspension components have been fitted to help deal with the added grunt. Elsewhere, the C10 features Wilwood brakes with six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston calipers at the rear to ensure it’s got all the braking power needed to bring the truck to a stop.

A multitude of other modifications have been made. For example, the truck sits on airbag suspension and there are a set of bespoke 20-inch HRE wheels wrapped in wide rubber. As you can probably imagine, all of these parts come together to create an absolutely epic performance machine.
