We happen to think the new Toyota Supra is quite the looker but now many people disagree. Perhaps these renderings from professional automotive designer Giulio Partisani of a radically-different Mk5 Supra will do it for you?
Partisani has worked as a designer at Bertone, Ferrari, Jaguar-Land Rover and is currently a designer at Honda in Japan. The Mk5 Supra you see has been imagined with styling clearly reminiscent of the Mk4-generation model, meaning it looks totally unlike the Supra currently on the market.

The similarities between this Mk5 Supra and its predecessor are immediately apparent, particularly thanks to the similar overall proportions. The front features a long hood while there is also a rounded and low-slung cabin.
We’re particularly fond of the front fascia that includes sharp LED headlights that provide a nice modern twist to the lights used by the Mk4. The retro looks are also evident at the rear thanks to a large fixed-wing, bulging rear haunches, horizontal taillights, and dual tailpipes. There is also a striking diffuser for good measure.
Partisani says he was inspired by the gorgeous Mazda RX Vision when creating his dream new-age Supra and this has worked wonders, resulting in a sports car that looks both modern while also acting as a fitting tribute to its predecessor.
While the 2020 and 2021 Supra may not tickle everyone’s fancy, it is just the start of the new Supra family and with the arrival of new variants, styling modifications can be expected.
Thanks to Giulio Partisani for sharing his work with us!
