Isuzu D-Max XTR Color Edition Can Look Vibrant While Muddy

Isuzu is looking to enhance the appearance of its D-Max XTR trucks using a new Color Edition spec, available on all four XTR colors – Splash White, Titanium Silver Met, Obsidian Grey Mica and Cosmic Black Mica.

Only a limited number of these D-Max XTR Color Edition trucks will be produced, with pricing and availability to be announced at a later date, when dealer showrooms re-open following the lockdown.

On the XTR Color Edition, the front bumper guard, hood protector and headlight frames are color-coded with the body for a more premium appearance, while the fog light surrounds and grille have remained black.

The green Isuzu grille badge, available as an accessory on the regular XTR, comes as standard on these new Color Edition models.

Other standard features include the heavy duty 17-inch Satin Black alloy wheels, Pirelli Scorpion All-Terrain Plus tires, XTR side steps, black door mirror covers, black door handles, tinted rear windows, color-coded tailgate spoiler, plus more various flashes of vibrant green – such as from the anti-roll bar, dampers and calipers.

Inside, there are standard heated front leather sports seats, with suede, leather and green contrast stitching on the side bolsters. There’s also the embroidered backrest logo, a D-shaped sports steering wheel trimmed in leather and suede, as well as more contrast stitching found throughout (around the wheel and on the door panels).

As for what the D-Max XTR can do off-road, it benefits from having performance brake discs, Kevlar ceramic front brake pads and a bespoke suspension system, allowing for 250 mm (9.84 inches) of ground clearance.
