Carlex Design is working on yet another upgrade package for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class with this particular example dubbed the ‘Yachting Edition’.
Previewed through a series of highly-detailed renderings, the Mercedes-AMG G63 Yachting Edition from Carlex Design is not as over-the-top as some of the company’s previous projects and looks more akin to a special-edition model that Mercedes-Benz itself would produce.

Adorning the exterior of the SUV is an intriguing silver and black body where the silver has a unique finish akin to brushed aluminum. It makes for a very exotic-looking exterior and is complemented by a set of 22-inch wheels and a bespoke spare wheel cover. Then we come to the interior that’s been rendered in two flavors.
The first one is dominated by gorgeous white leather applied across the seats, center console, dashboard, door panels, and steering wheel while the pillars and roof appear to be finished in soft-touch Alcantara. There is also an intricate ‘Yachting Edition’ motif on the roof. Elsewhere, this example includes light-colored wood in the trunk, on the back of the second-row seats, and through other parts of the interior.
As for the second interior, it features brown leather across the seats, door panels, steering wheel, and parts of the dashboard while contrasted with various white leather components. Elsewhere, the roof and pillars are finished in brown Alcantara while there is also dark wood in the rear.
We don’t have any pricing details available for Carlex’s G63 Yachting Edition but can’t imagine it’s cheap.
