If you want to put a modern-day 911 in your driveway, they don’t get much prettier than the Porsche Exclusive-built Targa 4S Design Edition, unveiled back in August of 2016.

Only 100 units were ever made, with this particular one getting auctioned off through Bring a Trailer boasting a little under 5,000 miles (8,000 km) on its 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat six unit.

The exterior is finished in Etna Blue, with a dark blue powered targa top, a black rear decklid vent and a White Gold Metallic targa bar, door graphics and wheels (20-inch RS Spyder Design). Other features include LED headlights and taillights, a Sport exhaust system, SportDesign mirrors and body-color badging.

Inside, the blue theme continues with Graphite Blue leather and Provence Blue stitching on the seats, armrest and door handles. According to the ad, the car is also equipped with the Premium Package Plus, featuring heated and ventilated 18-way adjustable sports seats, a GT Sport steering wheel, dual-zone climate control and a Bose surround sound system.

Other special touches include the anodized stainless steel door entry guards, a 911 Targa silhouette adorning the armrest, plus Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur lettering above the glove box.

The previously-mentioned twin turbo flat six unit puts down 414 HP (420 PS) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque, sent to all corners through a seven-speed PDK gearbox. Going from zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) takes 4 seconds flat, although the addition of the Sport Chrono Package will shave another 0.2 seconds off that time.

When it was first unveiled, this car was described as a “collector’s item” and given everything we know about it, it’s hard to argue against that status.
