Rocket Bunny is one of the leading manufacturers of widebody conversions for Japanese sports cars anywhere on earth and we recently found a Nissan S14 Silvia rocking one of their more intriguing proposals for sale in Japan.
The Nissan S14 Silvia, also branded as the 240SX in North America, was built between 1993 and 1998 and is one of Nissan’s most revered sports cars. It has become particularly popular among the tuning and drifting communities and the available Rocket Bunny kit for it drastically alters its exterior appearance.
The first thing that strikes you about the bodykit is that it doesn’t simply include a set of flared front and rear wheel arches. Instead, the kit, known as the ‘V2 Boss’, includes an overhauled front fascia drastically different than a standard S14. The most noteworthy change are the presence of simple circular headlights, a new hood, and a flat bumper that makes the Silvia look reminiscent of a classic American muscle car, in particular a 1970 ’Cuda.

It’s quite a sight to behold and to our eyes, makes the S14 Silvia look even better than it did when it left the factory.
Most Rocket Bunny-equipped Silvias we can see online also feature aftermarket wheels to fit the swollen arches. In addition, the bodykit includes a customized rear bumper and a prominent lip spoiler but retains the standard S14 taillights, meaning the front and rear look like two totally different cars.
The white example in the gallery below is currently for sale in Japan at R-Freaks with a 2,490,000 Yen (US$23,126) price tag. Below, you can see pictures of the car that’s for grabs (in white) along with some stock photos of another S14 (in red) from Rocket Bunny.
