Singer Vehicle Design has presented its latest creation, lovingly referred to as the ‘Honor Roll Commission.’

The classic air-cooled Porsche 911 model is one of the many left-hand drive models the company has built. Adding to its desirability is the fact that it is a Targa. It looks absolutely gorgeous.

Bathing the exterior is Dark Gunmetal paint offset with a black targa panel and accents with nickel bumperettes and badging. Elsewhere, the classic sports car includes an external fuel filler and a black ceramic exhaust system. A subtle ducktail spoiler adds to the provocative looks.

Like a number of other Singer 911 models, this one features an overhauled 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six engine built by Ed Pink Racing Engines churning out 390 HP. The rear wheels are driven through the six-speed manual transmission and we imagine driving this thing is a ball and would likely make new 911 models seem boring.

As always, Singer also spent a considerable amount of time re-working and re-trimming the interior to make it even better than it would have been when rolling off the production line. There is new orange leather adorning the racing bucket seats, door panels, and lower portion of the dashboard while there is also a beautifully simple three-spoke black steering wheel and a new audio system.

We don’t know how much the owner paid for the car but it wouldn’t have been cheap. In fact, a similar 911 from Singer, albeit painted turquoise, is currently up for sale through RM Sotheby’s for $875,000.
