German tuner ABT Sportsline has launched a limited edition bundle of upgrades for the 2020 Audi RS7 that takes care of the visuals and power.
Dubbed the ABT RS7-R, the executive sports model will be offered in 125 units and off of them will benefit from the hefty bump in power to 740 PS (730 HP / 544 kW) and 920 Nm (679 lb-ft) of torque.
Review: 2020 Audi RS7 Should Come With A “Danger – Can Cause Addiction” Warning Label
The standard 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine powering the car produces 600 PS (592 HP / 441 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft), directed to the quattro all-wheel drive system through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. ABT won’t say how fast its tuned moel is, but the stock car completes the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration in 3.6 seconds and tops at an electronically limited 250 km/h (155 mph), although it can be bumped to 280 or 305 km/h (174-190 mph) with the optional Dynamic Package or Dynamic Plus Package.
Suspension options that have been exclusively tailored to the RS7-R comprise of the coilover springs and anti-roll bars. Boosting the looks and stance are the 22-inch wheels, alongside the carbon fiber add-ons such as the grille frame, front lip, rear spoiler, diffuser and side skirt extensions.
The company founder and Formula E racing driver Daniel Abt chose a very special design for his one-off RS7, which was named ‘AllTheWayABT RS7-R’ (some German tuners need to stay away from naming their cars) and features a range of red-colored accents. The interior boasts the entire array of equipment of the other cars, such as the special-trimmed steering wheel, carbon fiber accents and special badges, as well as a unique element, the ‘Handcrafted for DA’ engraving on the center console.
