While just 22 examples of the Vector W8 and 17 units of the Vector M12 were produced from the late 1980s to the mid 1990s, the small American automaker is still talked about today. We’re unlikely to see the company return to the market but these epic renderings from car designer Giulio Partisani depict what a modern-day Vector could look.
In his spare time away from working as a designer at Honda in Japan, Partisani has created a striking Vector that’s based around the Lamborghini Aventador. The resulting design is eye-catching enough to make even the Raging Bull seem a little restrained.

Viewed from the front, you may notice the Aventador underpinnings, most noticeably with the shape of the cabin and the position of the wing mirrors. Apart from that, however, this thing look unique. Featured are sharp headlights as well as a gaping wide front grille and air intakes. The modern Vector also features large air vents in the hood.
The car really comes into its own when looking at it side-on. The doors appear slightly smaller than they are on the Aventador and the shape of the side windows has been modified. There are also massive air intakes directly behind the doors to feed the mid-engined powertrain with cool air. Also visible is a glass sunroof and a small NACA duct to provide further cooling to the engine.
The rear is true Vector. Similar to how the Vector W8 had slim taillights stretching the rear of the car, this new one sports thin, split LED taillights that look as if they’re floating in front of the large air vents. A large spoiler completes the car.
