Apparently, Easter Sunday wasn’t a good day this year for some drivers.
Earlier today we featured the spectacular accident of an intoxicated Polish driver who used a roundabout to launch his Suzuki Swift to the skies. Now we bring you a truck driver from the United States who had a very difficult time staying in his lane.
A dashcam caught the Dodge Ram as it crossed into the lane of the camera car, nearly striking it head on. The cammer had the presence of mind to gently steer left and avoid the collision. Aware that other road users might not be so lucky, the driver called 911, turned around and went in pursuit of the wavering truck, which continued to be all over the road.

As the cammer caught up with the pickup, he witnessed the erratic driver nearly hitting another vehicle. Not long after that, the Dodge Ram left the road, flipped end-over-end and landed into a swamp roof down. Amazingly, the driver was not injured and managed to get himself out of the wreck.
According to the cammer, the truck driver said he had sleeping issues and fell asleep at the wheel. “I personally think there were drugs involved,” the man who witnessed the entire incident added.
If that was truly the case, then one would expect charges to be pressed against the truck driver who endangered the lives of innocent road users. We don’t know about that, but according to the cammer, the man was released from the hospital within an hour and went home.
