It’s been proven time and time again that Ford Mustangs have an appetite for crashing when there are crowds of people but as the video below shows, there doesn’t even need to be any spectators in sight for things to go slide-ways.
We don’t have any details about the incident in question other than what we can see from the video. Nevertheless, it’s not hard to determine where things went wrong.
When the person filming arrives on the scene, a plume of tire smoke can be seen emanating from the rear of a black Ford Mustang that had clearly just done a burnout. Sitting alongside the black car is a second Ford Mustang while alongside it is a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

Those driving the trio, clearly unconcerned with the other motorists around them, wanted to have a little bit of fun. When the light turns green, the second Mustang and the Hellcat race off into the distance while the driver of the black Mustang decides to do a smoky burnout.
After spinning up the rear wheels of the car through the intersection, the driver loses control when the Mustang aggressively kicks to the left. Rather than simply let off the throttle to allow the tires to regain traction, the driver makes the ill-fated decision to hit the brakes, sending the car into a spin before it slams into a crash barrier on the side of the road.
The crash didn’t happen at particularly high speed so the driver was likely uninjured. Hopefully, they’ve learnt their lesson.
Ford Mustang crashes are so common that we’ve added a second video bonus below showing a different ‘Stang crashing in wet conditions this month.
