Both a truck and the boat that it was carrying have been damaged (rather, destroyed) after being hit by a train in Skien, Norway on April 29th.
Local publication NRK reports that the incident happened at approximately 11:45 a.m. when a truck got stuck on the train line while trying to cross. It remains unclear why the truck stopped on the crossing but the carnage caused is evident.
In a video that captured the entirety of the crash, the fast-moving train can be seen entering the screen from the right and slams directly into the side of the boat that the truck was transporting. The impact pushes the boat off its trailer and leaves a trail of destruction in its path. The truck itself also took quite a bit of an impact and was briefly dragged along before it and the train came to a stop. The train can also be seen briefly bouncing off the tracks.

It is reported that there were four passengers and three personnel on the train at the time of the crash and that none of them were seriously injured. Fortunately, the two male occupants of the truck managed to get out before the crash but one of them was almost taken out by the flying wreckage.
Operations manager from the nearby South East police district Anne Meier said it was too early to determine why the truck got stuck on the crossing.
