A man in Oklahoma has been arrested after leading police on a wild chase while behind the wheel of a Toyota Camry Solara, News 9 reports.
It is reported that authorities started to pursue the suspect when they discovered the car was stolen. Evidently, the driver doesn’t have very good taste in cars as the Camry Solara is perhaps one of the ugliest cars Toyota has produced in recent memory. Making matters worse is the fact that this one was a convertible model painted red and complete with a beige-colored soft top.

Local media says the man reached speeds exceeding 100 mph (160 km/h) while fleeing police on eastbound I-40 before the chase came to an abrupt end at Highway 377 and I-40 in Pottawatomie County.
Helicopter vision captured the final moments of the chase. The 1-minute video starts off showing the man speeding up a highway off-ramp with a police cruiser less than a car length behind him. The Solara driver makes an aggressive left-hand turn to get off the highway, crosses over a bridge, and then makes another left-hand turn aiming to get back on the highway.
The police officer used this turn as the perfect opportunity to tap the Toyota from the rear, sending it spinning out of control into an area of grass. A second trooper driving a Ford Explorer soon arrived on the scene and the man was taken into custody.
