The McLaren Senna GTR looks more like a Batmobile than a car actually sold to members of the public and thanks to Topaz Detailing over in the UK, a pair of stunning examples of the British hypercar will continue to look new well into the future.
The process of protecting the paintwork of these two Senna GTRs started off by removing the OEM paint protection films that they left the factory with. While better than nothing, factory clear wraps aren’t always of the highest quality, or so Topaz would have us believe, so it’s little wonder why so many car owners turn to the aftermarket for their paint protection needs.

Each Senna GTR to leave McLaren’s Woking factory in Britain is adorned with sharp and aggressive aerodynamic panels. While these features result in huge levels of downforce, they also add to the complexity of applying the film. Both of the cars in question had every painted and carbon fiber exterior element covered with the clear bra to make sure stone chips are a thing of the past.
Based around the road-going Senna, the GTR variant is restricted to track use and features a modified version of the marque’s familiar twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, upgraded to pump out 814 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. Complementing the added grunt is the fact the car weighs just 1,188 kg (2,619 lbs). It also comes equipped with an adjustable suspension system that allows the driver to tweak things such as the anti-roll bar stiffness, ride height, and spring stiffness.
