Growing up around one of the most famous motoring journalists out there, Jeremy Clarkson, has its perks. For one, Jezza’s daughter Emily could recognize any car as a kid, and that always baffled her friends – she calls it her ‘party trick’.
Emily is a 25-year old writer, blogger and Instagramer, as she said during an interview with DriveTribe conducted a couple of weeks ago. She did mention the isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic, stating that the hardest thing to do during these harsh times is ‘not kill’ her family – that’s such a Clarkson thing to say.

There is no such thing as a typical day in the Clarkson household apparently, as that would mean that she would be doing something wrong, but let’s get back to cars, because that’s the reason that all of us are here. Now, what do you think Jezza’s daughter drives on a daily basis? Her father does influence her car choices, and no one sane would want their offspring to drive something that’s too powerful. So, she has a Ford Fiesta ST, which is one of the best small hot hatches in the B-segment.
The young woman has a long history with the Blue Oval’s supermini that dates back to when she got her driver’s license, because her first car was also a Fiesta, although she would have rather had something with more ponies from our side of the pond, like a Shelby Mustang.
Does she prefer manual or automatic transmissions, would she get an Aston Martin or a Ferrari and who would she choose between Richard Hammond or James May are other questions that she answered in the interview, so head on down to check it out.
