A 1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille that was comprehensively restored and modified for the SEMA Show in 2016 is currently up for sale with a ‘Buy It Now’ price on eBay of $42,900. The listing doesn’t specify the car’s mileage but the odometer reads 73,982 miles (119,062 km) in one of the interior photos.
This isn’t the first time the car has been posted for sale as it was also listed on eBay last September, but this time, the seller did a more professional shootout enlisting the help of a model to add some ‘sex appeal’ to the listing. Of course, that has nothing to do with the car itself, but we’re guessing the seller is hoping that someone will succumb to the “buy this, get this” imagery.
The seller, based in Lexington, South Carolina, says that this DeVille Coupe was purchased from an owner in Arizona before being completely stripped down and in a process that reportedly took more than 1,000 hours, slowly built back up into a vehicle that’s been featured in many car magazines, including Gauge and Underground Scene Magazine.

Bathing the exterior of the classic Cadillac is a custom shade of ‘snow white’ with silver pearl to give it a unique look. Meanwhile, the roof is finished in red and includes graphics painted by Ryan Evans at Counts Kustoms in Las Vegas. The red features continue across the front and rear fascias. The eye-catching white and red wheels come courtesy of Lexani and measure 20-inches at all four corners. An air suspension system allows the car to be lowered for shows and raised when it actually needs to be driven.
Custom touches continue in the cabin. For example, there is all new black leather upholstery with diamond red stitching and a black headliner with ‘Cadillac’ embroidery. An upgraded JL audio system is also present with two 12-inch subwoofers and complete with Bluetooth, USB, and AUX sockets.
No modifications have been made to the Cadillac 427 engine but it was recently serviced. New brakes have been fitted and include 14-inch drilled and slotted discs at the front and 12-inch drilled and slotted discs at the rear.
