An outlandish Chevrolet Corvette converted into a pickup truck was recently spotted by a Reddit user in Switzerland and as it turns out, is actually available to hire.
We presume this C5 Corvette started out life like any other before being imported to Switzerland. The roof has been cut from just behind the passenger cell and the hatch and rear window replaced by a small pickup bed. Unusual doesn’t even begin to describe it.

Pickup trucks are ordinarily purchased by people looking to transport things around but the bed of this Corvette is so small it could probably only fit a child’s pram and not much else. What’s more, the vehicle wouldn’t have any significant towing capacity and has clearly been designed not as a more practical version of the Corvette, but one that pays tribute to the iconic Chevrolet El Camino that was built for five generations and referred to as a coupe utility vehicle.
As if converting a C5 Corvette into a pickup truck wasn’t enough, the owner of the car has also applied a weird light blue and white paint scheme. There are also a set of very ordinary-looking silver wheels.
A bit of research reveals that this very car is owned by Neufeld’s Special Cars Zurich and is available to rent for things such as film and cinema productions, as well as other special occasions.
