After last week’s scoop photos, the new Porsche Cayenne Coupe model has been filmed on the Nurburgring, growling like a beast and fighting for grip.

Likely dubbed either the GT or GTS, it boasts a sportier appearance inspired by the Turbo and has a couple of centrally-mounted oval exhaust pipes, flanked by the fake trim that will disappear when the production version launches later this year.

Powering it will be a V8 engine, with 4.0 liters in displacement and dual turbochargers, but details about its output and torque have yet to be confirmed. Still, there are two possible scenarios, with the most probable positioning it between the 542 HP (550 PS / 404 kW) Cayenne Turbo Coupe and the 670 HP (680 PS / 500 kW) Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupe PHEV.

The second scenario has the new variant using the powertrain of the Panamera GTS. This also means a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, although with less power, namely 454 HP (460 PS / 338 kW) and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm) of torque directed to all four corners through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Whatever Porsche is preparing for the first-ever Cayenne Coupe, it is supposedly a few months away from being presented. So, here’s to a full summer/fall collection of new cars.
