The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport has been driven more than 2.4 million times virtually thanks to its inclusion in the mobile game CSR Racing 2, available for free on both the App Store as well as the Google Play Store.
In CSR2, players can compete against each other in drag races with different vehicles in various categories. If you win, you score points, which you can then use to upgrade your car or purchase an even more powerful model.
“Even if the Chiron Pur Sport is not yet available to customers in reality, I am delighted that so many gamers have already been able to experience it virtually,” said Bugatti president Stephan Winkelmann. “Thanks to the interactive Bugatti models, we are keeping in touch with the fans of the brand all over the world.”

Bugatti argues that the Chiron Pur Sport is an ideal car for when you want to go drag racing, even if it is on a mobile device. Its 8.0-liter W16 engine is good for 1,479 HP (1,500 PS) and 1,180 lb-ft (1,600 Nm) of torque, and will get you from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.5 seconds, while 200 km/h (124 mph) takes just 5.5 seconds.
During a recent Evolution Cup Event in CSR2, gamers covered over 1.9 million km (1.18 million miles) as part of 2.4 million races involving more than 16.8 million gearshifts. Users from all over the world added the Agile Blue Chiron Pur Sport to their CSR2 garage, while others went for a Red variant of the car at the Evolution Cup.
This wasn’t the first collaboration between Bugatti and Zynga (makers of CSR2). Since last year, gamers have been able to add the likes of the exclusive Chiron Super Sport 300+, La Voiture Noire and the Centodieci to their virtual garage as well.
