A glorious 2003 Ferrari Enzo is currently up for auction and is expected to sell for anywhere between $2.6 million and $2.9 million.

The Enzo is rightfully one of the Italian car manufacturer’s most iconic and desirable models and just 400 units were ever manufactured. This car was delivered by Ferrari of San Francisco to its first owner on 25 August 2003 and remained part of his collection until 2018.

During its time with the original owner, the car was used sparingly and regularly serviced by Ferrari of San Francisco.

The car is currently owned by another collector in California and has just 1,250 miles (2,011 km) on the clock. Despite the low mileage, it underwent the major 25,000 mile (40k km) service back in 2015 to ensure it’s in tip-top condition and just as perfect as it was when it rolled out of the Ferrari factory back in 2003.

Like the vast majority of the 400 Enzo models produced, the car is painted red, but is said to be one of the rare few that features matching red 3D fabric seat inserts. Speaking of the interior, it also features a host of parts finished in red leather with black contrast stitching. There is also heaps of exposed carbon fiber to remind anyone driving the car that they are behind the wheel of something very special and very fast.

Power is provided by a naturally-aspirated 6.0-liter V12 that offers up 651 hp and 485 lb-ft (657 Nm) of torque while being mated to a six-speed automated ‘F1’ transmission. At the time of writing, and with four days remaining until the auction ends, the RM Sotheby’s listing had attracted a highest bid of $1.92 million.
