Since its reveal in July 2019, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette has received the exact amount of attention and coverage you expected. That would be more than any other car we can think of, ever.
With the mid-engine sports car already on the road, you’d think the Corvette C8 hype would cool down a little. Well, you would be wrong to assume that, as some automotive illustrators imagine ways to improve the looks of the eighth-generation Vette.
The folks from Car MStyle Design imagined a custom widebody kit for the 2020 Corvette that looks pretty great in our book. There aren’t many details available but we believe the CGIs speak for themselves better than words could.

The party piece of this digital makeover is obviously the widebody package which includes broader fenders front and rear, extended side skirts which appear to be made of carbon fiber, as well as custom bumpers with aero upgrades.
At the front, the widebody Corvette C8 sports a gaping grille and a sharp splitter, while at the back you’ll spot new tailpipe trims surrounded by carbon fiber, a center diffuser in a metallic finish and a more generous rear wing than the one supplied from the factory.
By now you’ve probably noticed the massive alloys which look like 22-inch wheels to our eyes. Elsewhere, the widebody 2020 Corvette features blue accents and carbon fiber trim on the front fenders and mirror caps. Let us know what is your take on this virtual widebody package and if you would consider it for your real or imaginary 2020 Chevy Corvette.
