The full segment of Jay Leno’s Garage starring the Tesla Cybertruck and Elon Musk has arrived.
The clip starts out with Leno, Musk and Tesla’s senior designer Franz Von Holzhausen discussing the overall design of the Cypertruck. Not only does it look unlike any pickup truck on the market but it is also distinct from existing Tesla models and any other car to ever hit the roads. It’s extremely bold and with confirmation that it won’t be reduced in size for production, those who placed an order have a lot of truck to look forward to.

Before Leno and Musk hit the road, the entrepreneur briefly stood on top of the cargo bed cover to show just how strong it is. Unlike the last demonstration of the Cybertruck where its ‘armored’ side windows shattered, the cover didn’t fail and easily supported Musk’s weight.
While behind the wheel, Leno had the opportunity to take the Cybertruck through The Boring Company’s test tunnel running under Los Angeles. Musk says this was the first time the Cybertruck had been taken through the tunnel and it’s easy to understand why as it only just fits. If there was one way to sum up Musk in a single scene, it would be him riding shotgun with Jay Leno in a futuristic, all-electric pickup truck through a tunnel creating by a boring company that Musk founded on a whim.
We learn very little about what it is actually like driving the Cybertruck on public roads in the clip and with production not set to commence until late 2021, still have some time to wait for our first driving impressions.
