Manhart Takes Range Rover Velar V8 Flagship To 592 HP

If you’re set on owning the very best Range Rover Velar money can buy, the SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition variant is clearly the way to go, with its 542 HP (550 PS) 5.0-liter supercharged V8.

However, if you want something a little more “custom”, then you should check out the newly released Manhart-tuned Velar SV 600, which is based on the previously-mentioned spec. The tuned model puts down 592 HP (600 PS) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque.

The extra muscle comes courtesy of the Manhart Performance ECU remapping, and is accentuated by the custom sports exhaust system with flap control, featuring a replacement pipe with 200-cell HJS catalytic converters.

Also new are the turbine design Hawke wheels measuring 10.5 x 23 inches, wrapped in 285/35 ZR23 rubber. The rims themselves are glossy black, yet are edged by a contrast stripe, mirroring the color of the Manhart Performance decal set.

The interior, as well as the chassis and brakes remain standard, but the German tuner will provide customized solutions if the customer requires something more specific in any of the previously-mentioned three departments.

Speaking of the interior, the SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition model already comes fully loaded with twin-stitched perforated and quilted Windsor leather, a unique sports steering wheel with aluminum shift paddles, sport pedals, illuminated metal tread plates and a knurled finish for the rotary gear selector and infotainment system dials.

As for performance, Manhart doesn’t specify any new acceleration or top speed figures, but the standard model is already capable of hitting 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.3 seconds, while maxing out at 170 mph (274 km/h).
