The latest-generation Renault Megane RS is no longer available as a three-door, leaving some hot hatch enthusiasts nostalgic about the sportier-looking body style which was marketed as a Coupe.
If you absolutely must find a cure for your three-door Megane RS blues, German tuner JMS may have something for you. The aftermarket specialist decided to revisit the previous-generation Megane RS and refresh it with some extensive styling tweaks.
The full body wrap by Sticker-Werk is probably the first thing you notice on this custom Megane RS Coupe. That’s because the tape applied to the sleek bodywork has a striking pattern and changes color depending on the incidence of light.

The other major modification is the set of Project 3.0 custom alloys from Barracuda Racing Wheels’ Ultralight Series. These multi-spoke rims in a black milled finish are sized 8.5×19 inches and come fitted with 225/35 ZR19 high-performance tires. The wheels are made really unique courtesy of bright red accents applied by the specialists from Sticker-Werk and red Barracuda Racing Bolts.
To make sure the wheels fit entirely into the well and don’t throw dirt on the driver’s window, JMS made a custom fender flare. Compared to the standard car, this one also sits lower courtesy of a KW coil-over kit.
No powertrain enhancements have been made and that’s probably for the better because this is the range-topping Megane RS 275 Trophy. The 2.0-liter turbo-four under the bonnet delivers 275 PS (273 HP) and 360 Nm (266 lb-ft) to the front axle, enabling performance that remains relevant in 2020. Nought to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 6.0 seconds and the top speed is 255 km/h (158 mph).
