Just a few months after five E36-generation BMW M3 Lightweights formerly owned by Paul Walker were auctioned off, a 1991 E30 M3 once owned by the late actor has appeared for sale on eBay through Reserve Auto Group in The Colony, Texas.
Few details about the E30 M3 in question are provided in the listing. We know that two E30 M3s owned by Walker were sold in January with a 1991 example like this one fetching $220,000 and an earlier 1988 example selling for $165,000. The 1991 model sold was painted white so this example clearly isn’t the same one.
The listing says the car’s original red paint has been retained and that the classic German sports car has 13,248 miles (21,320 km) on the clock. Found at the front are OEM Hella European headlights but the car will also be sold with the original U.S.-spec headlights. The current owner has also fitted 16 x 7.5-inch wheels from an M3 Sport Evolution model.

Like the exterior, the cabin looks to be in great condition. The original cream-colored leather seats look to have been well maintained and the black plastic across the dashboard and center console shows minimal signs of wear.
Prices for E30-generation BMW M3s have increased dramatically over the last decade or so. Power is provided by a naturally-aspirated inline-four that in U.S. guise produced 192 hp, all of which is sent through the rear wheels thanks to a five-speed manual transmission.
The asking price for this car sits at $149,980 which might sound a lot to the uninitiated, but seems fairly reasonable considering its condition, low mileage and ownership history.
