Some pretty epic cars have been built since Dodge introduced its Hellcat engine in the Challenger and Charger for the 2015 model year and in the U.S., a little shop called JayeFab is working to make a Dodge Charger Hellcat Wagon with the potential to leave other super estates like the Mercedes-AMG E63 S Wagon in its wake.

For a few years now, JayeFab has been crafting Dodge Charger fascias onto the Dodge Magnum and for its latest project, is developing a bespoke widebody kit for the wagon. It is shaping up to be quite special.

While the car is still very much a work in progress, images show that the bodykit is quickly taking shape and in addition to the Charger front fascia, incorporates flared front and rear wheel arches as well as extended side skirts. It has the makings of a very good looking car and makes us really wish Dodge built a wagon version of the current Charger.

As impressive as the car will look, the bodykit will not be the headline. Instead, the real highlight of the overhauled Dodge Magnum will be the presence of FCA’s 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat engine.

We’re not sure how difficult (or easy) it will be to slot the Hellcat engine under the Magnum’s hood but JayeFab’s creation will include the hood of a Dodge Challenger Demon to make sure everyone knows it means business. In standard form, the Hellcat engine is good for 707 hp and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque so this thing promises to be pretty wild.
