Following its successful introduction in the United States, Volvo’s Valet Maintenance Pickup and Delivery service is now being launched in select European markets.
The goal is to offer Volvo customers a safe and contact-free option to have their cars serviced or repaired amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Volvo customers can contact their retailer to make an appointment, with the car picked up from their home on the agreed date, serviced and returned. The new Volvo Valet service also comes with a special app that allows customers to track their car in real-time and receive notifications about the progress of the servicing process.

Volvo will launch the new service in the UK first, with Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Denmark, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, and Switzerland to follow.
“With the Volvo Valet service, we give customers the flexibility and convenience that they need in these challenging times,” said Björn Annwall, head of EMEA at Volvo Cars. “It is a great example of how at Volvo, we always put people’s wellbeing and safety at the center of everything we do.”
Volvo has already launched the Valet service earlier this year in the United States where it has been a big success for the participating retailers. A similar valet service for car maintenance is also offered to Volvo customers in China via the WeChat platform.
Volvo has also launched an online buying service across Europe, which has been recently upgraded with a new live chat function to offer customers an even more personalized and convenient experience.
