Barely a week after we came across a Dodge Magnum that is receiving a Charger facelift and a Hellcat engine, and artist Kleber Silva has decided to imagine what a modern-day Magnum could look like if based on the current Charger.
The Dodge Magnum was produced across three generations by the automaker but the first two iterations were two-door coupes while the third-generation Magnum, introduced in 2005 almost 20 years after the previous Magnum was killed off, morphed into a 5-door station wagon and was built for three years. It’s quite a rare thing and as it turns out, could be easily updated for the modern world with some Charger styling.

Silva’s creation incorporates the same front fascia as the recently-introduced 2020 Charger Daytona and therefore sports blacked-out grilles, sleek headlights, and an eye-catching hood with a large scoop and power bulge. There is also a subtle Daytona badge in the grille.
Elsewhere, the Dodge Charger Daytona Magnum in these illustrations sits on a set of black wheels and scores Brembo brake calipers. The rear is familiar Dodge Charger with the same taillight array and a small spoiler stretching off from the roof.
Interestingly, the overall shape of the car is identical to the Magnum from 2005 with the same roofline and profile and yet, despite how old this design is, the station wagon still looks pretty good.
As much as we’d love to see Dodge re-introduced the Magnum with a new variation of the Charger, it seems highly unlikely it’ll happen.
