Cadillac has updated the XT5 for the 2020 model year by taking care of all the important aspects: looks, technology gear and powertrain choices.
In the exterior, you will find revised front and rear ends, tweaked grille, standard IntelliBeam LED headlights and new wheels, as well as colorful accents inside.
The extra sound deadening material makes the ride more refined and occupants will also find other novelties, such as the latest software applied to the 8-inch infotainment system, new-gen wireless charging pad and even NFC, which allows instant phone pairing. The heated front seats are now standard, USB-C ports have been added to the package and audiophiles can order a new Bose premium sound system.

While the 3.6-liter V6 is still present, making 310 HP (314 PS / 231 kW) and 271 lb-ft (367 Nm) of torque, Cadillac has also introduced a new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder. It pumps out 237 HP (240 PS / 177 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm), and is standard on the Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels.
The crossover, which slots between the XT4 and XT6, has an MSRP of $44,095, which rises to $48,795 for the mid-spec Premium Luxury. As for the Sport, you’re looking at a minimum of $55,095, although this grade brings the more powerful V6, all-wheel drive, chassis damping control, 20-inch wheels and high-gloss black exterior details.
