The Jaguar I-Pace has rolled into the new model year with additional technology features and modest design changes.
Available to order from £65,195 (equal to $80,967) in the United Kingdom, the electric SUV gains the new Pivi Pro infotainment system. Described as being “as intuitive to use as a smartphone”, it provides access to different functions, displaying them on a 10-inch touchscreen, which joins the 5-inch lower screen and 12.3-inch digital cluster.
In addition, an optional wireless charging pad has been added beneath the center console. The Smartphone Pack brings standard Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth that can pair two phones at once, whereas the dual modem embedded SIM with complimentary 4G data plan opens up the access to the world wide web.

The 360-degree camera system is standard and rearview visibility has been enhanced with the introduction of the ClearSight digital mirror that uses a wide-angle camera integrated into the roof-mounted antenna module. The optional Meridian sound system has also been updated and features two extra speakers in the headliner, bringing the number to 16 speakers and 1 subwoofer. A modern cabin air filtration system is part of the offering as well and can filter the cabin air before a journey begins.
Available on all models in the range, the new Black Pack option complements the Atlas Grey grille tip finish, which is another novelty. It brings a colorful look for certain parts, including the Noble Chrome grille surround, Satin Chrome window surrounds, Atlas Grey side mirror caps and rear diffuser. The Black Pack option adds a glossy black finish to the rear badges. Speaking of colors, the palette has been expanded to include Caldera Red, Portofino Blue and Eiger Grey. Additional wheel options are also available.
The 2021 I-Pace has a standard 11 kW on-board charger, which enables 33 miles (53 km) of range per hour, in the WLTP cycle, using a 11 kW wall box. A full charge takes 8.6 hours, or 12.75 hours via a 7 kW wall box at up to 22 miles (35 km) of charge per hour. Should you find a 50 kW charger, you can add 39 miles (63 km) of range in 15 minutes, or 78 miles (126 km) via a 100 kW charger.
The Jaguar I-Pace packs two electric motors making a total of 394 HP (400 PS / 294 kW) and 513 lb-ft (696 Nm) of torque. The 90 kWh battery gives the crossover a WLTP-rated range of up to 292 miles (470 km).
