As the Exige turns 20, Lotus has decided to celebrate it with a new special edition, dubbed the Exige Sport 410 20th Anniversary.

The sports car features some exterior and interior tweaks that are reminiscent of the Series 1 from 2000. These include the body-colored roof, side air intake pods and rear wing, as well as the black stone chip protector positioned ahead of the rear wheels.

Unique ‘20th Anniversary’ and ‘20’ logos adorn the exterior of the model, which can be ordered in a series of classic paint finishes, taken from the original Exige. These include Chrome Orange, Calypso Red and Laser Blue, joined by Saffron Yellow (which reminds of the original Norfolk Mustard Yellow), Arctic Silver and Motorsport Black.

The nostalgia carries over to the cockpit, where customers will have to choose between several colored Alcantara trims. The special looks of the car are completed by ‘20th Anniversary’ logos embossed on the dashboard and embroidered on the seat backs, and seat stitching echoing that of the original Exige.

A series of features have become standard for the Exige Sport 410 20th Anniversary, including the three-way adjustable dampers, forged alloy wheels, cruise control, DAB radio with Bluetooth, and Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel. Customers can bump the starting price of £79,900 ($99,229) in the UK, which is £5,512 ($6,845) more than the standard Exige Sport 410, by choosing the optional carbon fiber sill trim, titanium exhaust system and lightweight lithium-ion battery.

Power still comes from the 3.5-liter supercharged V6, which pumps out 410 HP (416 PS / 305 kW) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque, matched to a six-speed manual transmission. The 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) takes 3.3 seconds and the top speed is 174 mph (280 km/h). Global deliveries will kick off later this year.
