Bentley unveiled the Bentayga Speed a little over a year ago, claiming it to be the world’s fastest production SUV, snatching that title away from the Lamborghini Urus.

The Speed variant of the Bentayga is powered by an updated version of the SUV’s twin turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 engine, which now puts down 626 HP (635 PS) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. It’s the same amount of torque as you get in the regular W12 Bentayga, but with an extra 26 HP.

So, what’s so special about all this grunt? Sure, there are a lot of fast SUVs out there using M-power, RS-power, SRT-power and so on, but none of them can boast about being able to hit a top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h) – 0.5 mph more than the Urus.

This particular Bentayga Speed was recently on display at Bentley Emirates in the UAE, featuring a Beluga Black exterior, the Centenary Specification, plus a main hide Beluga over secondary hide Newmarket Tan interior.

The outside is all-black courtesy of the black alloys. In fact, the Speed version of the Bentayga already comes with dark-tint headlights, radiator and bumper grilles, so expanding on that theme can be sort of an obvious choice.

As for the interior, the Centenary Specification adds Centenary Gold Bentley wings and B logo on both the steering wheel and gear shifter, as well as on the key itself. Centenary Gold contrast stitching can also be commissioned for the seats, although this vehicle doesn’t appear to have it.
