The Ford Ranger is finally getting some off-road love in the US market, courtesy of Ford Performance’s new accessory packages. These may not carry the Raptor name but it will do the job for most people.
Owners of the 2019 and 2020 all-wheel-drive Ford Ranger will be offered the choice between three accessory packages that are designed to boost the truck’s off-road credentials and style.
The dealer-installed packages are basically three levels of hardware, software, and styling combinations specifically designed for the Ford Ranger. The first two levels will become available for order this August, with Level 3 to launch next summer.

The base Ford Performance Level 1 package, priced at $2,495 MSRP before installation, includes an off-road leveling kit, Ford Performance-tuned Fox 2.0 Performance Series dampers up front and Ford Performance Engineers dampers at the rear, a set of 17-inch Dyno Gray wheels, special bedside graphics and a Ford Performance windshield banner.
Move up to the Level 2 package, priced at $4,495 MSRP before installation, which adds on top of all the above things like a new tune for the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, boosting horsepower by 16 percent to 315 HP at 4,500 rpm and torque by 20 percent to 370 lb-ft at 2,500 rpm. The L2 package also includes a set of BF Goodrich KO2 265/70 tires, an off-road fog light kit from Rigid, blue tow hooks, and a Ford Performance stainless steel license plate frame.
Finally, the Ford Performance Level 3 package, priced at $8,995 MSRP before installation, goes a step further, adding a 40-inch LED lightbar kit from Rigid, a new winch-capable front bumper, a Ford Performance sport exhaust and chase rack, as well as red tow hooks.
“Our goal is to inspire customers by giving them capabilities and styling options from the aftermarket brands they love,” said Eric Cin, global director, Ford Vehicle Personalization. “The three new Ford Performance Packs empower our adventure-loving Ranger customers to explore even further with even more freedom with the added off-roading capability right from the dealership.”
