A pristine 2003 BMW 525i Touring has come across our radar after being listed up for sale by Gold Coast Motors in Naperville, Illinois with an asking price of $29,900.
It’s not all that often that you’ll see E39-generation 5-Series Touring models in the United States and making this particular unit especially desirable is the fact it has just 14,083 miles (22,664 km) on the clock. It also looks to have been lovingly cared for and is free of any rust.

The eBay listing says the car is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six engine that is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The car is sitting on its original 16×7-inch alloy wheels and rolls on a set of 225/55 all-season SBR tires. When new, the engine was good for 184 hp at 6,000 rpm and 175 lb-ft (237 Nm) of torque at 3,500 rpm.
Inside, the 5-Series appears to be in absolutely beautiful shape and includes 10-way power-adjustable front seats as well as leatherette upholstery with high gloss trim. Despite being a 2003 model, there are a host of nice luxuries, including 3 memory settings for the driver’s seat position, cruise control, a 10-speaker audio system, and remote keyless entry.
The cabin has started to show its age due to the wood trims across the gear shifter, center console, doors and dashboard but this is to be expected of a car from the early 2000s.
