Bugatti will allegedly build a one-off Chiron Roadster that will likely prove to be one of the French marque’s most expensive models, second only to the La Voiture Noire.
The French car manufacturer previously ruled out the possibility of launching a Chiron ‘Grand Sport’ or Roadster model early on during the hypercar’s production run. However, money talks and it is claimed that Bugatti will build a one-off Chiron drop-top should it find a customer that can cough up at least $10 million before taxes.

The Supercar Blog alleges that due to the potential hypercar’s exclusivity and price, it could prove to be more than simply a Chiron with its roof removed. Instead, it could share some similarities to the Bugatti Veyron Barchetta Speedster Concept recently unveiled through a series of official renderings from Bugatti.
An aggressive Chiron with a speedster top would certainly make the car stand out from all other current Bugatti models while also making other speedster models like the McLaren Elva and Ferrari SP1/SP2 Monza seem common and a little bland.
If the Bugatti Chiron drop-top is indeed a one-off, there’s no doubt the buyer will be able to spec out the car exactly to their tastes and may have an input in the car’s overall design. If the vehicle is to used the same mechanical parts and platform as the regular Chiron or even the limited-edition Chiron Pur Sport, Super Sport 300+, or Divo, Bugatti will probably be able to make a nice little profit with the unique offering.
