A little known tuning company by the name of Xeigen has previewed a striking bodykit that it is developing for the new C8-generation of the Chevrolet Corvette.
The bodykit takes inspiration from the wild C3 Corvette ‘Daytona’ driven by John Greenwood back in the 1970s while also sharing some resemblance to the current C8.R race car.

Found at the front of the overhauled Corvette is a new fascia with a sharp new splitter and a hood with a prominent power-dome that, given the fact the C8 is mid-engined, is purely aesthetic. Along the sides, the supercar incorporates bold new skirts that won’t just drastically alter the looks of the car but will also impact its aerodynamics.
Things get even more extreme at the rear. Xeigen has designed a towering wing that doesn’t attach to the decklid but is instead affixed into the rear fascia. Also found at the back is a decklid lip spoiler, an overhauled bumper, a carbon fiber diffuser, and dual tailpipes. Rounding out the modifications is a prominent roof spoiler design to not only look cool but feed the 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 engine with air.
The tuning company says it plans on launching its C8 Corvette widebody kit next year but has yet to reveal how much it will cost. We presume most of the parts are made from carbon fiber and if that is indeed the case, don’t expect it to be cheap.
