If you own a Toyota FJ Cruiser and want to modify it to really stand out from the rest of its kind, this example from the Philippines could give you some inspiration.

This custom FJ Cruiser comes from a tuning company by the name of Atoy Customs. The interesting part is that while most tuned FJs you’re going to see on the road are outfitted with heaps of off-roading parts, this one is actually a road-going beast designed to more closely resemble a low-slung crossover than a hardcore off-roader.

The most obvious modification made are the fitment of KYB Xtage 40 mm lowering springs that are complemented with high-end Tein Endura Pro+ shock absorbers. These suspension modifications alone drastically alter the overall look of the vehicle, giving it a menacing stance on the road, Street63 notes.

As for the 4.0-liter V6 engine, it has had its ECU tuned while also benefiting from AC long tube headers, an AC Y-pipe with 2 bullet resonators, a catback exhaust system with a Borla Atak Crate muffler and Borla Black chrome tips. There is also an AFE GT Momentum intake assembly, AFE throttle body spacer, and Cusco cooling plate.

A host of exterior changes have also been made to the Toyota, such as carbon fiber wheel arches, a carbon rear spoiler, bespoke rear diffuser, body-colored roof, fog lights, and more. Key interior alterations include a GReddy steering wheel, distinctive seats and an upgraded audio system.
