Give an inexperienced driver a car with lots of power at the rear wheels and disaster often soon follows. Give someone a powerful rear-wheel drive car at a car event that has Ford Mustangs in attendance, and a crash is almost inevitable, as this video proves.
The Ford Mustang has been the bud of jokes for quite some time due to the spate of accidents triggered by them, and even though the incident in question wasn’t caused by a Mustang, it did involve one.
We’re not sure when or where this video was filmed, but it shows the driver of an orange Dodge Challenger, which judging from the hashtags might be an SRT Hellcat, losing control of the American muscle car while appearing the leave a car event and showing off to those in attendance.

Based on the trajectory of the Challenger, it is apparent that its driver pushed the throttle a bit too hard to make the Dodge slide, but wasn’t able to catch it. Thus, the Dodge ended up slamming side-on into a parked Ford Mustang Convertible, causing the Challenger’s side curtain airbags to be deployed. Moments after the crash, those attending the car gathering can be seen rushing over to assess the damage and, of course, film everything.
Unfortunately, the clip doesn’t provide us with any angles that show either the side of the Challenger or the Mustang after the crash, meaning it is hard to tell just how much damage was caused. Nevertheless, based on the severity of the impact, it seems inevitable that the Dodge driver will be hit with an expensive insurance bill.
