A 2019 Porsche 911 Speedster will be auctioned off by RM Sotheby’s at its ‘The European Summer Auction’ running from July 14-21.
The 991-generation 911 Speedster is a truly beautiful car that was capped to just 1,948 examples worldwide, and this is number 29. Not only is it one of the first three dozen examples that were built by the German automaker, but is also one of the most beautifully specified we’ve come across.

Adorning the exterior of the drop-top sports car is a blue paint scheme that is contrasted by a host of black parts, such as the front splitter and side skirts, while sitting on a set of matte grey wheels and complete with yellow brake calipers, the listing reveals.
Sitting at the rear of the car is a 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six just like one in the 911 GT3 that pumps out an impressive 502 hp and 346 lb-ft (469 Nm) of torque while revving through to a dizzying 9,000 rpm. While many car manufacturers are ditching stick shifts, the 911 Speedster is made all the more special by the fact that it is only available with a six-speed manual rather than Porsche’s quick-shifting PDK dual-clutch transmission.
Porsche says the 911 Speedster hits 60 mph (96 km/h) in a mere 3.8 seconds and will top out at 192 mph (309 km/h). However, stats only tell a small part of the car’s story as the presence of a screaming, naturally aspirated flat-six engine and the lack of a fixed roof surely makes it one of the best driver’s cars of the past few years.
