McLaren Newport Beach recently took delivery of just one of 12 McLaren 600LT Spider Segestria Borealis models being built.

Unveiled back in May, this limited-run version of the 600LT Spider has a custom paint scheme and interior inspired by a venomous spider called Segestria Florentina that has brightly-colored green fangs.

Adorning the exterior of the car is a unique shade from McLaren Special Operations dubbed Borealis Black. As these photos reveal, the paint may look like any normal shade of black from some angles, but on closer inspection, you can really see what makes it special.

Depending on the angle you look at the paint, it can look like a deep shade of green or a deep shade of purple and we’re sure looks even better in the flesh. Contrasting the Borealis Black paint are Napier Green stripes across the front and rear fascias as well as on the side skirts, wing mirrors, and underside of the rear wing.

The Napier Green accents continue in the cabin and include painted sections of the carbon fiber bucket seats, the contrast stitching, piping on the floor mats and the 12 o’clock stripe on the steering wheel.

Like all other 600LT models, the car is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 rated at 592 hp and 457 lb-ft (627 Nm) of torque, allowing it to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in a mere 2.8 seconds.

McLaren Newport Beach is actually selling this very 600LT Spider Segestria Borealis, but you’ll have to contact them for the price as it hasn’t been made public.
