A new aerodynamics package for the Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 and CLA 45 models has been unveiled by the carmaker.
Fittingly dubbed the AMG Aerodynamics Package Plus, the kit features a slightly enlarged splitter and optional canards on either side of the front bumper finished in high-gloss black. Most notably, the kit includes a fixed rear wing finished in high-gloss black and a new piece of trim that runs under the rear diffuser and quad tailpipes.
It is understood that the AMG Performance Package can be ordered for €1,487 ($1,678) without the rear wing or €2,737 ($3,089) with the rear wing.

No performance modifications come with the kit. As such, the flagship Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S retains its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at a cool 415 hp and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. This engine is coupled to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission channeling power through all four wheels, allowing the car to sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in as little as 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 168 mph (270 km/h).
There is no denying that the CLA 45 S is an absolute animal but that doesn’t mean the Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 also isn’t impressive in its own right. Like the 45, it too uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder (not the same engine) good for 302 hp and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. It features a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission paired with an all-wheel drive system and can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in roughly 4.9 seconds and continue through to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
